The 2016 fire season was a big one for the Carson City area, and Carson City SAR was able to assist in the fire fighting efforts by providing traffic control into the affected areas. This helped free up law enforcement and other crews to perform other vital tasks. Here are a few photos from the “Shooting Fire”, a west side wildfire presumably started by target shooters in the dry summer grass.
