On February 18th, a few of us from the team got up to Lake Tahoe for some snowshoe training. One of the lesser visited beaches in the basin is Skunk Harbor, and it is within Carson City’s borders. It’s a 1.5 mile hike down from State Route 28, dropping about 600 ft in elevation along the way. We trained in this area last summer, so it was fun to come back to see the area in the winter.
